The Town of Pagosa Springs is processing the Annexation and Zoning designation for property addressed as 1040 E. Hwy 160.

The Town purchased the subject property on May 5, 2025, for the purpose of developing a Public River Access Park. The property is outside of the Town Boundaries; thus, the Town is pursuing annexing the property into the Town’s Boundary and providing a “Open Space/Parks” zoning designation.

The Planning Commission will consider a recommendation for Town Council regarding the Open Space/Parks zoning designation on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 5:30pm.

The Town Council will consider the Open Space/Parks zoning designation on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 and on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 5:00pm.

These Public hearings will be held in Town Hall located at 551 Hot Springs Blvd and will be available for remote attendance via the Zoom meeting platform. Public comments will be accepted in person and over Zoom. To access the meeting agendas and staff reports, click the round Minutes and Agendas tab located along the bottom of the photo on the Town’s website home page at pagosasprings.co.gov.

PLEASE NOTE: The Town does not and cannot guarantee internet service or online broadcasting. Remote meeting attendance and participation is at the risk of the attendee as the public meeting will continue in person regardless of the Town's virtual meeting broadcasting capability.

Written comments received 7 days prior to the meeting or public hearing will be forwarded to the Boards for their consideration.
