The Town of Pagosa Springs has received an application for variance from rooftop screening and dark sky compliance requirements at 109 Harman Park Drive.
The Board of Adjustments will consider the application at a public hearing scheduled on Tuesday, January 10, 2022, at 5:30pm. The Public Hearing will be conducted at 551 Hot Springs Blvd and will be available to attend remotely at this Zoom meeting link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82738710091 or to join by telephone dial: 1-719-359-4580 Webinar ID: 827 3871 0091
Public Hearings and Meetings will be conducted at 551 Hot Springs Blvd and available for remote attendance via the Zoom meeting platform.
To access the meeting agendas and staff reports, click the round Minutes and Agendas tab located along the bottom of the photo on the Town’s website home page at pagosasprings.co.gov.
We encourage interested parties to contact the Planning Division prior to the public hearing dates, with any questions via phone at 970-264-4151 x221 or email at cschultz@pagosasprings.co.gov. Written comments received 7 days prior to the meeting or public hearing will be forwarded to the Board of Adjustments for their consideration. Public comments will be accepted at the public hearings/meetings.

Hello Jodi Pyle,
The County is the applicant on this variance and they have asked to be relieved of the requirements for shielding the rooftop equipment and shielding the lighting on the site. You may notice that the lighting for the Detention center, to the east, complies with the lighting requirements.
If you would like your comments considered by the Board of Adjustments, you are encouraged to attend the meeting on Tuesday and if you can't attend, to send a letter well in advance for the BOA's consideration. They cannot consider comments made on MyPagosa when making their determination.
