The Town of Pagosa Springs Planning Division would like to inform you that the Planning Commission Public Hearing and meeting scheduled for April 28, 2026, has been cancelled.

The Town had recently sent you a notice of a Planning Commission Public Hearing for considering the extension of the Downtown Business and Lodging Overlay (ODB) zoning district along Hwy 160 to 8th Street. However, following additional internal review, staff identified that during a past transition between zoning map platforms, the Downtown Business and Lodging Overlay (ODB) was depicted incorrectly. Town staff has confirmed and verified that the official ODB zoning boundary already extends to 8th Street, consistent with the area described in the original public notice you received. As a result, the previously proposed overlay extension is no longer necessary, and there are no remaining items requiring Planning Commission consideration at this time.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
