**Exciting News for Pagosa Springs Residents: Free eBikes and eTrikes Available for Older Adults**

We're thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for older adults in the Pagosa Springs area! Thanks to a generous grant from the Colorado Energy Office, the Four Corners Office for Resource Efficiency (4Core), a Durango-based non-profit, is launching an innovative program aimed at providing sustainable transportation solutions for our community.


The Program Details:

- What: The Pagosa Springs 55+ eBike program will offer approximately 25 FREE eBikes and eTrikes to income-qualified adults in the Pagosa Springs area.

- Why: This initiative aims to promote immediate energy and cost savings, especially for lower-income residents, while also offering a sustainable and eco-friendly mode of transportation.

- How: Selected applicants will receive a free eBike or eTrike along with operation training, safety education, and accessories to ensure safe and convenient travel.

Are You Eligible?

If you are 55 years or older, a resident of Pagosa Springs area, and make 80% of the area median income (AMI) or lower, you may qualify for this fantastic opportunity! The application window is open now until May 31st and applications may be picked up at three locations around town: Archuleta Seniors, Pagosa Springs Community, and the Ruby M. Sisson Memorial Library or accessed at www.fourcore.org.

ELECTRIC MOBILITY EXPERIENCE IN PAGOSA SPRINGS

In conjunction with the 55+Free E-Bike program, 4CORE will be hosting an electric mobility test drive and informational event. Want to learn about electric mobility option? Come test drive an EV and/or an eBike at the Pagosa Springs High School on Thursday June 13th from 3:00pm-6:00pm. This event will provide the opportunity for community members to learn about transportation alternatives and the future of EV’s.
