UPDATE: The Planning Commission meeting scheduled for March 24, 2026 has been cancelled due to a lack of quorum. The next anticipated meeting to hear this project is April 7, 2026.
The Town of Pagosa Springs has received an application for “Conditional Use Permit” for the Regional Workforce Center located at 800A South 8th Street. The applicant is proposing the development of a career center to prepare and educate high schoolers on the trades. This proposal is a joint effort with Build Pagosa, Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation, The Town of Pagosa Springs, and the Archuleta School District to better prepare our youth entering the workforce.
The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:30 pm to consider the Conditional Use Permit Application, in person at 551 Hot Springs Blvd and available for remote attendance via the Zoom meeting platform. Public comments will be made in person and over Zoom.
