The Town of Pagosa Springs has received an application for “Sketch Major Design Review” for a conceptual site plan for future improvements at Town’s South Park, located at 550 S. 8th Street. The proposed improvements include expansion of the existing Seeds of Learning childcare facility along with a roof structure to enclose the existing ice rink.
The Design Review Board will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 5:30 pm to consider the Sketch Major Design Review Application. The conceptual site plan under consideration, if approved, will be constructed in multiple phases and includes improvements to parking and circulation to accommodate park and childcare center users. As this is a conceptual site plan (sketch) consideration, Design Review Board will be reviewing general site improvements such as layout and locations, circulation patterns, sidewalks/walkways, size, orientation, parking. The purpose is to provide guidance on layout and future building proposals.

Public comments will be accepted at the public hearings/meetings.
